Dr. Ariga Avanessian

Dr. Ariga Avanessian grew up in Kamloops, BC, where she attended Thompson Rivers University. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Cellular Molecular Microbial Biology and was the recipient of the TRU Medal in Science. Dr. Avanessian obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of British Columbia and recently completed a postgraduate residency program (NYU Langone Dental Medicine Advanced Education in General Dentistry, PGY-1) in Seattle, WA. Dr. Avanessian is a member of the College of Dental Surgeons of BC and the BC Dental Association. She has conducted research in the fields of microbiology and dentistry and strives to broaden her skills as a general dentist through a wide array of continuing education courses. In her spare time, Dr. Avanessian enjoys hiking, traveling, or walking her dog. There is a high chance that you will spot her enjoying a latte and delicious pastry at the local coffee shop.

I had a large broken filling which was bothering me on a Sunday. I am so glad the clinic was open on the weekend and could book me immediately to do the filling. The staff we so nice and helpful. Dr. Ken was so helpful, explained everything to me and did a great job at filling my tooth so that my invisalign aligner fits like before.
One more thing that I loved about this clinic was that they show the details of your treatment on a monitor before the doctor starts the work and you can make any decisions based on the costs
